OUR CLASSES
LSOD strives to teach a mixture of artistry, athleticism and the joy of dancing, and help each of our dancers grow their movement skills over the course of time. For this reason, we offer classes ranging from the beginner baby ballet to pre professional level in ballet and acro classes. We have opportunity's for student's to take place in examinations with the acrobatic arts, Irish board of dance performance and the ISTD. We take part in competitions and of course many stage performances.

COVID 19 POLICY
All students are to be dropped off and picked up from the front door in an orderly fashion. There will be a member of staff inside waiting to receive students and will ensure all hands are sanitised as they arrive.
Changing dance shoes/clothing: At the beginning of class, students must change into their ballet shoes in the lobby. At the end of class students will return to their dance space at the back of the hall, collect their belongings and change out of their ballet shoes in the lobby.
All teachers are required to wear masks. Masks are optional for students under the age of thirteen (in accordance with government protocols).
We ask students to only bring essentials only to their dance classes and are left at the back of the class, each student will have a designated space.
Our floors will be marked out to ensure social distancing can take place between dancers as class sizes are limited. There will be a taped off teacher area at the front of the room where students are not permitted, in order to maintain social distancing.
Centre floor work: each student will stretch and do centre work in the middle of the studio in their own designated dance pod.
Across the floor: each dancer will report to their place at the back of the studio and go across the floor when called.
At the end of each class, there will be a one way system in place so that students will not pass each other in the corridors.
Between each class: all surfaces will be wiped down and disinfected.

PAST STUDENT NORA FAY
I have such glowing memories of the year I spent with the Leinster School of Dance. I immediately felt the encouraging and welcoming atmosphere the moment I joined. Shauna herself had such a passion and enthusiasm for the school that gave us the opportunities to participate in national showcases, take ballet exams and even star in our own show. It was with her support that really helped me get into Fontys University Dance Academy in Tilburg, the Netherlands. I am just starting my second year there now and loving every moment of it. But I will always look back fondly at my time in the Leinster School of Dance.
